The IFF OBA team, in cooperation with the representatives from Ministry of Water (MoW) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF), carried out a project verification visit to the Arusha WSSA from 14.05.2025 to 16.05.2025.

The visit aimed at the verification of output targets, which include : (i) Installation of water supply network of at least 45km including 2No. BPT and supply and installation of 144m3/hr. at head 120m within 12 months; (ii) Connection of at least 50% of 1200 Nr metered customers in the targeted project extension areas within 12 months after signing of IFF grant agreement; (iii) Rehabilitation existing storage tank, Construction of new 500m3 storage tank and construction of 3No. water points in the project areas within 12 months after signing of the IFF grant agreement; (iv) Maintain an overall collection efficiency of not less than 90% within the entire service area of Arusha WSSA
