Extension of Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant and Purchase Exhauster Truck

Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority is implementing the IFF project “Extension of Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant and Purchase of Exhauster Truck for Shinyanga And Nearby Area”
The proposed project includes the following key components:
•    Construction of the FSTP Phase-2 extension Works (additional 60 m3 /day capacity) at the existing Kizumbi FSTP Phase-1 site (40 m3 /day capacity). Include supply of all materials and complete construction of Sludge Drying Beds-3 units 2- PDB, Constructed Wetland 3 Units CW3, CW4, CW5 and all interconnecting pipework, chambers and control valves.
•    Procurement, delivery and commissioning of 1Nr. Sewerage Exhauster Truck, with 10,000 ltr. (10.0 m3) vacuum tank capacity
•    Maintenance and operation of the existing domestic faecal sludge disposal at the Kizumbi FSTP
•     Reliable maintenance and operation of the new exhauster truck and provision of sewage emptying services within the entire Shinyanga WSSA service area at a fee that is approved by EWURA
