Extension of Water Distribution Network to Peri Urban areas within Iringa Municipality

The Iringa Water Supply and Sanitation Authority completed the IFF project “Extension of Water Distribution Network to Peri Urban areas within Iringa Municipality”. The project was implemented in the areas of Tosamaganga, Kalega, Ipamba, Lipuli, Mgera and Mseke. IRINGA WSSA achieved the following targets;
•    Total of 1,012 customers have been connected with pre-paid water meters and receive reliable water supply as of November 2023
•    Total of 84.972km of distribution network constructed as of November 2023
•    4No. water kiosks are constructed and operational.
•    Collection efficiency in entire service area of 94% over a period of twelve months was confirmed.
