Improvement of Water Supply Services within Morogoro Municipality

The Morogoro Water Supply and Sanitation Authority completed the IFF Project “Improvement of Water Supply Services within Morogoro Municipality” The project was implemented in the areas of BIGWA and BOMELA. MOROGORO WSSA achieved the following targets;
•    Construction of two intakes at BIGWA and BOMELA within 12months after signing of grant agreement
•    A Total of 752 customers have been connected and receive reliable water supply as of September 2022.
•    Total of 35.9 km of distribution network, 90m3 storage tank and two (2) sedimentation tanks were constructed.
•    Collection efficiency in entire service area of 93.94% over a period of seven months was confirmed.
