The IFF Consultant conducted an interim visit from 26th of March 2025 – 27th of March 2025. The aim of the visit was to assess the documentation of financial expenditure, to clarify and addressing inconsistencies identified in the interim report submitted by the utility. The team visited some customers who have already been shifted to the uPVC pipes, as well as those who still need to be shifted. During the visits, it was noted that the water meters of the unshifted customers are old and inaccurate, the connections are deteriorated, and the service lines are leaking

The interim project visit and the Consultants’ recommendations will assist the utility in streamlining the reporting and documentation of expenditure. This, in turn, will benefit the final project verification that is required for the approval of the grant disbursement.
