The IFF OBA team, in cooperation with the representatives from Ministry of Water (MoW) and the Ministry of Fi-nance (MOF), carried out a project verification visit to the Moshi WSSA from 26.08.2024 to 28.08.2024.

The visit aimed at the verification of output targets, which include (i) Construction of three intakes and collection chamber at Karanga river within 12 months after signing of IFF grant agreement; (ii) Connection of at least 50% of 500 Nr metered customers in the targeted project extension areas within 12 months after signing of IFF grant agreement; iii) Construction of at least 2.3 km transmission mains and re-placement of at least 6km of distribution network and construction of at least 4km distribution network within 12 months after signing of the IFF grant agreement; iv) Maintain an overall collection efficiency of not less than 90% within the entire service area of Moshi WSSA
