The IFF OBA team, in cooperation with the representatives from Ministry of Water (MoW) and the Ministry of Finance and Planning (MOFP), carried out a project verification visit to the Singida WSSA from 23.05.2022 to 25.05.2022

The visit was aimed at the verification of output targets, which include (i) connection of 250 Nr metered new customers, (ii) Construction of water supply distribution pipelines DN160 -50 of at least 12km in the project areas, (iii) Construction of 200m3 storage tank and NAMFUA borehole (SNG 103/2019) is equipped and operational and (iv) a collection efficiency of at least 90% within the entire service area. To date, a total of 321Nr new customers have been connected.
