On 25th and 26th of November 2020, the IFF-OBA team organised a Workshop on Data Integrity and Financial Modelling at the Regency Hotel and Resort in Singida. A total of 51 participants from 12 different UWASAs, representatives from commercial banks, Treasury Registrar, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Water were amongst the audience. The main objective of the workshop was to (i) brief utilities on the importance of data integrity for technical and financial project assessments and (ii) facilitate a group work exercise for the application of an MS Excel based financial model that was designed to project cash flows for IFF-OBA Projects.

The workshop evaluation asserted that 97% of participants considered the content of the workshop very relevant / relevant to their work and 95% of participants confirmed that they are very able / able to apply the acquired knowledge in future.
