On 24th and 25th of June 2021, the IFF-OBA team organised a workshop on Loan Disbursements and Progress Reporting at the Morogoro Hotel in Morogoro region. A total of 29 participants from 14 different WSSAs, representatives from commercial banks, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Water were amongst the audience. The objectives of the workshop were to (i) brief utilities on Proper accounting and documentation of expenditure and regular progress reporting in IFF Projects (ii) to brief the utilities on the bank perspective about disbursement schedules. (iii)introduction of loan calculator and calculation of annual interest in financial model.

The workshop evaluation asserted that 95% of participants considered the content of the workshop very relevant / relevant to their work and 60% and 40% of participants confirmed that they are very able / able to apply the acquired knowledge in future
