The IFF OBA team carried out a project verification visit to the Moshi Urban Water and Sanitation Authority(MUWSA) from 06.02.2019 to 07.02.2019. The visit aimed at the verification of output targets which include (i) Construction of Mang'ana intake and gravity main(ii) Construction of transmission main and distribution lines (iii) Additional billing of 1,000 customers in new supply areas and (iv) a collection efficiency of at least 90% within the entire service area. Based on the findings of the visit and MUWSA final completion report, the Consultant will compile a comprehensive verification report that will be presented to the IFF Steering Committee for approval. The report will outline the eligible project expenditure that will determine the actual amount of the IFF Grant that shall be disbursed to MUWSA.
